The Healthy Gut is proud to be sponsoring Australia’s first SIBO Summit, featuring Australia’s and America’s leading SIBO specialists. Held on 8 October in Melbourne and 10 October in Sydney, immerse yourself in a day of cutting edge research, updated treatment protocols, and new ideas on how to treat even your toughest SIBO patients.
Small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) is one of the leading causes of IBS. Patients with IBS symptoms are among the most frequent seen in clinical practice. Understanding how to assess and treat SIBO successfully can profoundly affect patient outcomes.
SIBO is caused by a translocation of bacteria into the small intestine (SI) as well as poor SI motility. Successful eradication of SIBO requires a comprehensive treatment approach and the last few years have seen an emergence of research and discoveries in this field. Besides digestive symptoms, SIBO has been found to have far reaching influences in an ever increasing number of conditions such as fibromyalgia, gallstones, interstitial cystitis, acne rosacea, and malabsorption syndromes to name just a few.
An exciting panel of speakers will be presenting at this day long summit in Melbourne and in Sydney. Join leading SIBO experts discuss the latest evidence-based research, pharmacology, dietary interventions and other treatment options for managing small intestine bacterial overgrowth.
Designed for health care professionals, this summit will provide the following learning objectives:
